About 4000 festival visitors took the opportunity to view Cuban art work at this location, which had been used the previous year for a showing of Buena Vista Social Club. It was almost a homecoming for the Cuban band Maria Ochoa y Corazon de Son, who headed over to the control room after their concert. |
| Just as unusual as the location were the conditions for this exhibit: Concrete walls, steel beams, dimmed lighting, and help from the club Cuba Libre created an atmosphere that was “muy cubanisimo.” |
